ABU DHABI/MUMBAI – Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality firm, has announced a new frequent flyer partnership between its Taj InnerCircle-Neupass programme and Etihad Guest, the loyalty programme of Etihad Airways.

The collaboration is set to enhance travel and stay experiences for members across a global network of hotels and destinations. It reflects a growing trend of integrated loyalty ecosystems, offering travellers added value and convenience across journeys.

The alliance will enable Etihad Guest members to access exclusive savings at participating IHCL properties worldwide, while also earning Etihad Guest miles with every eligible stay. The partnership brings together hospitality and aviation rewards under a unified offering, designed to deliver more personalised and seamless experiences.

Expanded reach

Speaking on the development, Praveen Chander Kumar, Executive Vice President – Commercial at Indian Hotels Company Limited, highlighted the increasing demand for integrated travel benefits. He noted that travellers are seeking familiarity and value across destinations, making such collaborations essential for enhancing guest engagement. By connecting with Etihad Guest’s global member base, IHCL aims to strengthen its reach and offer meaningful benefits across its portfolio.

Under the agreement, members can enjoy privileges across several IHCL brands, including Taj, Claridges Collection, SeleQtions, Gateway, Vivanta and amã stays and Trails. These benefits are expected to extend across a wide network of properties, catering to both leisure and business travellers.

Global synergy

Mark Potter, Managing Director of Etihad Guest, described the partnership as a step towards enhancing value for members worldwide. He emphasised that the collaboration not only strengthens the programme’s presence in India but also broadens opportunities within a growing global travel ecosystem. The initiative is expected to create more avenues for members to earn and redeem miles beyond flights, integrating hotel stays into the overall rewards experience.

Etihad Airways continues to expand its international network, connecting travellers across the Middle East, Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. Its loyalty programme plays a key role in this strategy, offering members opportunities to earn and redeem miles across flights, partners and everyday spending categories.

Taj InnerCircle, part of Tata Neu’s loyalty platform, complements this approach by offering rewards, streamlined booking experiences and exclusive privileges across IHCL’s portfolio, positioning the partnership as a strategic move to elevate customer engagement in an increasingly competitive global travel market.
